This morning we just took it easy. The kids played and Tyler got ahold of the camera.

Foust Extended Family Christmas

We went to my mom's today and celebrated Christmas with the extended family. I showed up late, because we had a rough morning with being sick and the youngest decided to wake up at 4am instead of normal time. You would have thought that it would have made us early, but I think because we were so exhausted we just dragged.

I was thankful to get to see my family and share what has happened over the last year. Everyone seems to be doing great and I hope this is true. I say this every year, but I wish that we would get together more often. I feel like we aren't quite as close as we used to be and that needs to change. My thought today, "How can you incorporate family more into your lives when the schedule you normally run is so hectic?"

First day of the Holiday Break

We picked up the kids from school and went and had dinner at Manny's and talked about all the plans we have for the next two weeks. Somehow the two weeks didn't seem so long anymore. Shopping days are numbered and travel days are a comin'
